    TSB Investigating Missing Air Tindi Plane North of Yellowknife

    The plane was on en route to Whati, Yellowknife but was reported missing yesterday morning.

    The Transportation Safety Board is still investigating an incident after an Air Tindi plane went missing near Behchoko, Northwest Territories Wednesday morning with two pilots on board.

    Two Transportation Safety Board investigators  are currently making their was towards a believed site of where the plane potentially crashed, however Air Tindi  says no crash location has been confirmed as of yet.

    The King Air 200 plan was flying from Yellowknife en route to Whati, Northwest Territories and Air Tindi says all of it's flights have been suspended until further notice, except one of their aircraft on standby for medevac operations.

    The company says they lost contact with the plane between 9 and 9:30am  Wednesday Morning, and poor weather conditions potentially played a role in the crash.

    Air Tindi has been operating charter services in the north for over 30 years and is currently based in Yellowknife.
