The Yukon Anti-Poverty Coalition is helping organize two different events occurring today and tomorrow.

The Yukon Anti-Poverty Coalition will be participating in and conducting events relating to homelessness and poverty across Whitehorse throughout the next two weeks leading up to the municipal election.

Poverty and Homelessness Action Week runs for the entirety of next week, and one event organized by the Coalition includes a a meet-and-greet with municipal candidates  and those who've experienced homelessness, social exclusion or poverty.

The event will occur today at 3 pm at 509 Hanson Street and "See for Yourself" tours are also available tomorrow morning for the general public at the Salvation Army, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Society, the Yukon Food Bank, and the Victoria Faulkner Women's Centre which will give insight regarding how the charities and organizations operate.
