Two first nations artist are leading the call to poppies.

Stormy Bradley and Teagan Vallevand are putting on a workshop at KDCC this week to teach bead work that will leave participants with a Poppy, in time for remembrance day, taking place on Sunday, November 11.

The $20 workshop is fully booked and has formulated a waiting list.  The supplies are generously donated by the cultural centre and proceeds from the workshop will be going towards the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign, to support vets and their families.

Stormy sees one of the most important qualities a good beader could have is patience.

The workshop will run each night until Thursday evening, starting at 5.
