The 31st Annual Handgames Tournament is set to occur tomorrow at Jackson Lake.

The event will  continue on through Sunday, and registration is still open for those thinking of signing up.

Event Coordinator Darlene Jim says those attending are asked to bring their own items to the go-green event.

"It's a go-green event, so we really encourage everybody to bring their potlatch bags, to bring their coffee mugs and to bring their water bottles because were not going to have any disposables at the event."

Two divisions will be making up this years tournament, which costs $900 for an adult team $300 for a youth team.

Jim says that those still thinking of signing up can contact her.

"If anybody still wants to register, they can email me at ""darlenejim01@gmail.com."" What we  require is the team name, the team captains,  (names) of the team players, and if it's a youth or adult division."

For more information on the event, you can go onto the "31st Annual Yukon Handgames Championships" Facebook group.
