11 new COVID-19 cases in the territory

There are also multiple exposure notices for Better Bodies in Whitehorse.

The Yukon’s acting Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Catherine Elliott is reporting 11 new cases of COVID-19.

10 of the infections are Whitehorse residents and one is in Watson Lake.

That puts the territory’s active case count at 69, which is down from the 79 reported on Monday.

 

There are also multiple exposure notices to report for Better Bodies in the capitol city.

You may have been exposed to COVID-19 if you were at the gym on October 22 from 3pm to 6pm, October 23 from 7:30am to 10:30am, October 25 from 5pm to 8pm, or October 26 from 2:30pm to 5:30pm.

Anyone who was there at those times should self monitor for symptoms.

Another exposure notice has been issued for the grade 3B class at Christ the King Elementary School.

All people involved have been advised directly by YCDC.
